Not a creature was stirring...not even a mouse....
As a food photographer, I rarely get the time to take pictures of the actual food prepping/styling part of my job, so I thought I would pull the camera off of the tripod and bring it into the kitchen for a bit this afternoon. This time of year is traditionally candy-making time for me. I have been making chocolate covered Christmas goodies for several years now....and somehow it's just not Christmas around our house until both the peanut butter & coconut balls have been dipped in chocolate and the little chocolate mice have been assembled. It's just a little tradition around here. I hope you and your families are enjoying this wonderful time of year carrying on whatever traditions you might have...whether they take place in the kitchen or elsewhere....here's wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
Welcome to the Cat's Eye Photography Blog! My name is Courtney Turlington and in 2004 I brought my photography dream to life with Cat’s Eye Photography. Cat’s Eye is the fulfillment of several years of training through photography school and real world experience and is driven by my unique approach to capturing images and a tireless drive for perfection. My weekends and evenings are usually full of Cat's Eye projects...everything from editing the last portrait session I shot or working on my website and blog. 9-5 I work full-time as a commercial photographer capturing yummy food photos for major grocery store advertising papers & in-store magazines. I'm very blessed to have been given such an opportunity to be doing something that I absolutely LOVE. I'm a wife to a wonderful supportive husband and I'm a new mom to a precious baby boy. My guys are the love of my life and the center of my world. I'm loving every minute of this new adventure called parenthood!
